Happy, proud and grateful to receive the SIL Barcelona 2026 Innovation Award
The HaiPick Climb candidacy from Hai Robotics, submitted by LYL, has been awarded the Prize for Best Innovation at SIL Barcelona 2026. Among more than 150 innovations submitted, a jury made up of members of the technical and trade press recognised the HaiPick Climb’s ability to redefine warehouse automation with twice the efficiency and half the complexity of other robotic systems.
HaiPick Climb is a compact climbing robot designed to deliver maximum space efficiency in Goods-to-Person processes. It simplifies installations, reduces investment, outperforms conventional ASRS systems and offers efficiency and scalability. Its dual climbing-arm system, connected to a guide rail, halves the number of connection points compared with traditional solutions, making maintenance easier and ensuring high 24/7 availability through automatic recharging. Its compact structure allows for narrow aisles and movement beneath the racking, while bidirectional picking maximises storage density by eliminating dead space.
In performance terms, it reaches a travel speed of 4 m/s and a climbing speed of 1 m/s, delivering orders to picking stations in 2 minutes — 34% faster than standard ASRS. The fleet is scalable to up to 3,000 robots with no operational disruption, and the robots are ready to operate from day one.
The compact design of the HAIPICK CLIMB makes it particularly well suited to facilities with limited space, e-commerce warehouses, mid-sized logistics operators and high-turnover order fulfilment centres.
Thank you to the jury, to the SIL organisation and to the Consorci de la Zona Franca for this distinction.
The award was collected by Raul Vilaplana, Country Manager Spain & Portugal at Hai Robotics, and Luis Talavera, Co-founder and Sales Director at LYL.
