HC-FL scales are a combination of two individual scales in series. Both scales work simultaneously and independently of each other. As soon as a parcel reaches a certain length, both individual scales function as a third virtual set of scales.

The machine can be used in any situation where higher conveyor speeds and outputs are required for products with individual weights of up to 60 kg, i.e. ideally in the CEP sector. At transport speeds of up to 2.9 m/s, the scales accurately determine the weight of up to 11,000 parcels per hour.

The scales are impressive in terms of performance and durability. More than 1,000 units have been installed worldwide. As a result, WIPOTEC-OCS’s HC-FL scales are setting new standards in their field. The principles of construction offer an increase in performance of about 60% at the same speed, compared to individual scales. Using two individual scales makes it possible to keep the distances between products very short.

The scales can also weigh during acceleration and deceleration phases, on upslopes or downslopes. The use of a WIPOTEC high-tech weigh cell, which operates on the principle of electro-magnetic force restoration (EMFR), ensures the best technology for outstanding weighing results.
