LYL INGENIERIA exhibits CubiScan® and APACHE at the Movimat fair in Brazil Measuring and Weighing Solutions for the transport and logistics in the South American market

Movimat 2011, the largest trade fair for intralogistics in Latin America, was chosen by LYL INGENIERIA to market "turnkey" solutions such as CubiScan^® and APACHE in the South American market. LYL’s international growth strategy focuses on advanced emerging markets like Brazil, and emerging side, such as Chile, Argentina and Colombia.

LYL INGENIERIA's presence in Movimat aroused great interest among international buyers of various sectors, systems integrators and representatives of logistics and transportation companies across the continent. The solutions that most attracted the attention among the visitors were CubiScan^® systems for measuring weight and volume in static applications, and APACHE systems of measurement and weighing of large objects, mainly pallets.

CubiScan^® systems: volume and weight measurement for static applications.

CubiScan^® 30 is the perfect solution for measuring the volume and weight in the book industry. Uses laser technology to achieve precise tolerances and total control when measuring the length and width of the books. You can also measure the thickness of a book to easily calculate the optimal size of the box or shipping container. By using a high precision scale (up to 2g.) can also check the accuracy of the order based on the weight of the shipment schedule. The process is simple, accurate and amazing savings.

CubiScan® 100 provides full control of any application for a distribution center or warehouse. Provides information on the dimensions and weight evenly and quickly without the possibility of error, and transfers the information to data processing system, which can be used immediately. CubiScan^® 100 system helps companies to implement proper shipping rates right from the start, based on the dimensions, thus eliminating the highly expensive fees. CubiScan^® 150 is a system for measurement of volume and static weight designed for operation in the distribution sector, direct sales and logistics in general, which combines the characteristics of flexibility, precision and durability in one robust and functional system. It is mounted on wheels that can be locked, so you can be in a fixed position or move easily and set it back when needed. With an optional PC-based interface (Qbit ™), the CubiScan^® 150 can store thousands of records of data buffer, may interact with devices, bar code scanning, label printing devices, and can communicate directly with a control system or warehouse management.


APACHE: measurement and weighing of large objects

APACHE Portal, APACHE mobile and APACHE Conveyor are solutions for certified volume of palletized items, loading regular and irregular pallets, possible pallets exclusion even in certified mode, volume and simultaneous weighing, and volume measurements rapidly, reliably and accurately with the highest resolution high as possible.

APACHE Portal enables easy integration into existing processes, adapt to different environments, proposes a measurement area up to 2,500 mm x 3,500mm x 2,800mm (L x W x H), is certified according MID and OIML R129 with high resolution 20mm x 20mm x 10mm (L x W x H). Protrusions are detected below 40 mm (length, width) and 10 mm (high).

APACHE Mobile shares the same features and it is perfect for volume measurement of large moving objects. Its transport is easy.

APACHE Conveyor is designed for volume measurement and in motion weighing.

APACHE Contour plans, measures and automatically classifies containers. It is an ideal solution for air cargo. In this transport, the most important goal to stow containers and pallets is the optimal use of space in cargo planes. The contours of the containers and pallets loaded with goods for pieces should fit the cargo space of the aircraft. The projections of unwanted containers and pallets can damage the aircraft fuselage. To avoid unnecessary repairs to the fuselage of the aircraft and eliminate downtime of aircraft pallets and containers should be carefully reviewed before being stowed.
